O bjectives
behind
the
paper
As
America
is
always
the
quintessence
of
freedom
or
equality,
its
coveted
core
value
acted
as
the
most
decent
epitome
for
many
other
countries
around
the
globe
to
follow.
According
to
the
Declaration
of
Independence,
the
fundamental
beliefs
of
American
enshrined
ten
respective
aspects:
life,
liberty,
pursuit
of
happiness,
common
good,
justice,
quality,
diversity,
truth,
popular
sovereignty
and
patriotism （ CIVITAS,
1992 ） .
Inasmuch
as
the
above
underpinnings
preserved,
the
American
social
life
can
simultaneously
be
sustained
with
a
healthy
civic
participation.
To
further
underscore
this
kind
of
ripple
effect,
the
America
itself
as
a
comprehensive
public
sphere*
can
be
nurtured
to
uphold
the
polycentric
nature
of
the
modern
American
society
and
so
on
its
liberal
democracy.
Nonetheless,
the
political
demagogue－Donald
Trump
has
posed
the
triumphant
principle
of
America
on
danger
or
even
accentuated
the
aggregating
society
over
the
entire
hot
button
election.
In
short,
this
paper
would
pore
over
the
invisible
polarization
of
America
over
the
whole
contentious
campaign.
As
for
the
polarization
of
America
that
can
be
observed
through
Trump’s
indictments
of
policies,
it
implied
a
contingent
degeneration
of
the
liberal
democracy*
to
a
quasi-‐oligarchic
one
–
direct
democracy*
with
the
maneuver
of
“tyranny
of
minority”
(that
can
be
tantamount
to
the
dialectical
concept
of
tyranny
of
the
majority*).
In
light
of
the
descending,
it
can
be
chiefly
manifested
through
the
tripartite
facets
of
dichotomy
between
the
private/public
opinions
&
realms*:
Amendments
on
Trump’s
policy
of
Immigration,
policy
of
Tax
Reduction
and
policy
of
Abortion.
