Old-Fashioned Campfires
[All Ages]
Take a short hike with a naturalist along the trails, play games
with family and friends and enjoy marshmallows roasted over
the campfire!
Children under two are free. Children must be accompanied by a
paid registered adult. Min/Max is 6/20.

Spring Canoe
[Ages 6-Adult]
Welcome spring with a paddle on the beautiful Skokie
Lagoons! Naturalists will provide canoes and everything else
needed for an afternoon on the water.
Children must be accompanied by a paid registered adult.

Bee-tastic Mother’s Day
[Ages 6-Adult]
Bring the special women in your life for a sweet treat to let
them know how much they mean to you. Learn about the
Queen bee and her hard-working daughters, then put on a
beesuit to get a safe, up-close look inside the hives. Everyone
will get a Heller Honey stick to enjoy!
Children must be accompanied by a paid registered adult.
All participants must wear closed shoes and tall socks to visit the
hives. Min/Max is 6/20.

Mini Adventure Skills
[Grades 1-6]
Learn to use a GPS to navigate the forest and find hidden
geocaches, learn to build and start a fire with one match or
learn to track insects, toads and salamanders. Choose one
adventure, or join them all.
