Your child’s sense of wonder is engaged as we set out to discover the arrival of spring, welcome back our feathered friends, greet the winter sleepers and experience nature blooming with colors. Activities include nature literature, science, crafts, songs, games and outdoor fun. Please dress for the weather. Mar 28 Mon 10am-12:30pm FREE Kindergarten Naturalists [Grade K] Being outside fosters your child’s sense of wonder and caring for the earth. We’ll use our senses and scientific tools to welcome spring. Hands-on exploratory learning encourages inventive problem solving, promotes creativity, and stimulates the imagination. Science will be incorporated with naturebased literature, art, games, and movement. Please dress for the weather. 8 weeks. Let Heller staff take care of the messy part of playing in mud with the kids. We’ll explore mud, puddles, small ponds and streams, make mud paintings and mud pies and more. Waterproof boots, warm waterproof layers and a change of clothes for the ride home recommended. Activities are subject to change. Min/Max: 6/12 Mar 31 39504 Thu 9:30-11:30am $12 Zipline Adventure [Ages 11-15] This spring break fly through the trees on a canopy tour and see the forest like never before. Heller staff is leading a trip to Lake Geneva for an afternoon of zip lining through the hillsides overlooking Lake Como. Transportation and all safety gear and instruction are provided. Participants must weigh at least 70lbs. Please dress for the weather. Min/Max 6/13. Registration will end Mar 23.
