Chelsea Lofts, a new apartment
complex under construction by
Haag Management, Inc. located at
1020 Commercial St., is on track
to be finished around May 1.
The three-story complex is currently being pre-leased through
Haag Management’s website for
June 1, July 1 and Aug.1 move-in
dates. The project began in May
of 2015 and the external portion is
nearly finished.
“The outside of the building,
we’re probably about eight weeks
away from having all the outside
brick done and the landscaping
and the courtyard done. The inside
of the building is what we’ll work
on over the next four months to get
it done,” said Cory Haag, the owner and developer of the complex.
The associated parking lot was
finished in early December with
100 parking stalls, a re-paved alley and new lighting for the residents. Five houses were torn down
to create the lot.
“It’s just exciting to see it
opened up,” said Haag of the
new parking space.
