KWOK JOSEPH

Deputy GM of SooChow Securities CSSD (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a licensed fund manager in Singapore that is 75% owned by SooChow Securities and 25% by CSSD (China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Co. Ltd). He is also a director of China Reform Puissance Overseas Holdings Limited (a Beijing sponsored fund) and an Independent Non-Executive Director of 3 SGX main-board listed companies.

He has more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry and had previously held senior roles with global financial institutions like JP Morgan (Executive Director); UBS AG (Director, Advisory Consultant, North Asia); Standard Chartered Bank Singapore (Deputy GM, Wealth Management).

Joseph has been instrumental in delivering strong sponsorship contributions from many of the region’s financial services firms including banks, insurance companies and fund managers, in order to underwrite the sustainability and/or operations of these not for profit organisations.

Joseph is a Fellow of SIM University and an adjunct lecturer with Kaplan teaching finance and business related subjects.

In addition, he started volunteering since 2008 and his current voluntary roles include President of Financial Planning Association of Singapore (FPAS); President of University of New South Wales Alumni Association Singapore, NTUC Employment & Training Fund (NETF) Fund Raising Committee and Audit Committee Chairman of Singapore Gymnastics.

Joseph graduated with a Master Of Commerce degree (majoring in advance finance) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree (majoring in Accounting and Finance) from University of New South Wales. He is a certified accountant with CPA Australia and a Certified Financial Planner.

2) to make AAS a formidable association that represents all Australian Graduates in Singapore and 3) to leverage his sponsorship alliances to support the MC in launching and expanding the new AAS Members Rewards program.
