ast September the Health Professions Regulatory Advisory Council
recommended an exemption for the treatment of spouses from the prohibition
on sexual relationships with patients.
The current prohibition, which includes
chiropractors, is contained in the
Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
Recently, MPP Steve Clark (LeedsGrenville) introduced a Private Member’s
Bill at Queen’s Park that would allow
regulatory colleges, including the College
of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO),
to determine for their professions
