After working with MSCCN, Cara found a position with The Citadel that suits her time and employment needs.

The Hiring Challenge: I needed to get out of my existing full-time position, but I was having a lot of difficulty finding part-time positions that were flexible and still paid well.

MSCCN's Assistance: I was previously connected with Erin on Facebook, and she posted about positions with one of MSCCN's partners, The Citadel. I looked into it, applied, and had my initial interview on the MSCCN side with Stacey Cummings. After my interview, she sent my information along to The Citadel's hiring team.

The Results: I received a call from Tara Horner at The Citadel shortly after requesting a Skype interview. I virtually “met” Tara and several of her teammates during the interview, and had a wonderful time getting to know them all better. Last week, Tara called and said they had enjoyed meeting me, and would love to have me on their team! I'll be heading down to training in SC next week!

Even though this is the first time a job has worked out, MSCCN has been wonderful about working with me as I search for new positions that are better suited to my ever-changing circumstances. Military spouse life is still new to me, so having a team of experienced and knowledgeable people just a phone call or an email away has been GREATLY appreciated and highly valued!
