Tower of strength bringing cinema closer
The tower crane soaring above LynnMall has been working flat out
to ensure The Brickworks development is delivered in time.

It’s become a landmark, visible for miles around, as it hoists the
structural steel for the Reading Cinemas complex.
“We are very lucky. The guys have been working weekends and long
days to ensure the successful completion of this project.”
Thanks to the NZ Strong team the project is making great progress
and on target to open in November. The main cinema slab has
been poured and timber framing and scaffolding is being erected to
support the massive roof.
Work will soon start on The Brickworks dining precinct which has
already been fully leased by quality restaurants and cafes.
Inside the mall the new retail specialty shops are being formed and
the new Number One Shoes store is on target to open this month.
Site Manager, James Corric, said the project was being completed in
a tight timeframe, something only achievable through a dedicated
workforce.
“In any tight frame project the guys on site are key to delivery. Good

confirmed the demand for a quality eating precinct in New Lynn.
”The Kiwi Property team undertook a great deal of market research
prior to committing to this development.
“What was clear was that there was a real opportunity to deliver
a strong dining and entertainment precinct and capitalise on
LynnMall’s positive growth prospects within its retail catchment”.
