If someone had told me last year that this year there would be a new chapter to The Ring franchise , I wouldn ’ t have believed them . Personally , I was captivated by the concept of the first movie ( released 2002 ) and loved it , and thought the second one ( released 2005 ) was ok . But how much more could there be to the story of a videotape that , once watched , means you ’ ll die in seven days ? When the synopsis of the movie talks about the main character discovering that there is a ‘ movie within the movie ’, you ’ ve lost me . – CHELS
