The vibrant, lush 23,000 acres of this precious watershed are protected as one of our water sources, and are home to many rare and endangered species protected by federal and state laws. The 10-mile trail is open to hikers, cyclists, and equestrians with reservations to be accompanied by our Trail Leader Volunteers on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. We are working to expand our education and public access programs, and the environmental review is under way to extend the Bay Area Ridge Trail south on our Peninsula Watershed.
