hotos and precious mementos provoke powerful
memories—especially when they remind us of happy
times, proud moments or loved ones who have passed.
So when people want to memorialize their special items, they
turn to Colibri Art and Framing, a framing and art business in
the heart of downtown Morgan Hill.
For the past thirteen years, Leah De Lane and her staff have
provided expert design services for their customers. “Much
like hiring an interior designer, we specialize in creating
unique picture frames that enhance your artwork, conserve
and protect it, and complement your décor,” explains De Lane.
“We offer over 3000, unique frame mouldings to choose from

and only use high quality materials such as all-wood or metal.
We don’t use the cheaper styrene (plastic) that is commonly
used in big box frame shops. We only use acid-free materials,
too, which carefully protect the items.”
Very recently, customers will notice that the Fast Frame
sign has changed to “Colibri Art and Framing.” In partnership
with Dan and Kathy McCranie, De Lane sold the Fast Frame
franchise and formed a new company. De Lane met McCranie
six years ago when he came into her shop for help in framing
his wildlife photos.
“Dan is a wildlife photographer and a long-time client
of mine. I framed a number of photos for his restaurant,
