DANCE
The Dance curriculum at West Ridge
Center provides students of all ages
with a high-quality and enjoyable
dance education. The program
is centered on a fun and nurturing environment that allows
students to grow and advance at their own pace. Introductory
classes focus on movement and coordination. Class levels
progress to a more disciplined routine of stretching, technique
and choreography while promoting self-confi dence.

Attire
Ballet and Contemporary Classes:
Girls wear pastel pink leotards (without skirt or tutu), pink tights
and ballet shoes (nude color recommended)
Boys wear black pants, white or black shirt and black ballet shoes.
Hip-Hop, Poms, and Performance:
Comfortable clothes (no jeans) and clean-soled shoes.
No street shoes.
Jazz and Jazz II:
Black pants (no bare knees), black leotard and black jazz shoes
Mini Camps & Dance Days Programs:
Comfortable clothes (no jeans) and clean-soled shoes. No street
shoes.
Ballet attire is encouraged.
Themed Attire is accepted, as long as it is not restrictive.
Mini Camps
Once Upon a Dance Mini Camps | Ages 4-6
Come enjoy a mini-camp experience that includes dance class,
story time, and games! You will explore each camp’s theme
through movement, stories, craft and media. Families and friends
enjoy a small showcase on the last day of class. Please bring snack
& water bottle. Instructor: Margo Proeh. Min/Max: 7/15.

INTRODUCTORY PROGRAMS
Parent & Tot Dance | Ages 2-4
Prepare your little one to feel comfortable in the dance studio or
a performance class, and create wonderful memories together!
Parents and tots learn the very basics of dance, work on body
position and control together while exploring their imagination
and enjoying some great tunes!
This class is recommended as a fi rst dance class experience to prepare
students for a drop-off class. Instructor: Margo Proeh. Min/Max 4/12.
