Saltare means 'to jump' and padella means 'pan', so together it means making the food "jump in the pan" or sauteing it.

cuocere al vapore

to steam

Quite literal, cuocere means 'to cook' and al vapore means 'by steam', English and Italian also share the expression "go at full steam", or andare a tutto vapore

far bollire

to boil

Literally, "to make boil" you can use bollire alone as in L'acqua bolle 'the water is boiling' or metaphorically, your blood can also boil as in: il sangue bolle.
