It’s a make or break week for the Clan as they play six
more games this week, all at home. The homestand
begins Wednesday against border-rival Western
Washington.
LAST WEEK: Thursday – Western Washington 2-7 at Western
Oregon 4-5. Friday – Central Washington 1-10 at MSU Billings 712 (2nd game, 8 innings); Northwest Nazarene 6-5 at Simon Fraser
13-6. Saturday– Central Washington 8-17 at MSU Billings 12-11;
Northwest Nazarene 11-5 at Simon Fraser 3-12; Western Oregon
5-6 at Saint Martin’s 9-1.
The Wolves play four taking on SFU Sunday to complete a
four-game road trip to Bellingham and Burnaby.
The Vikings also play six contests, hosting Western Oregon
and Saint Martin’s Saturday and Sunday.
MSU Billings, which won three of four home games last
weekend against Central Washington, also plays four as it
takes its final road trip of the season traveling to Nampa to
face Northwest Nazarene.
THIS WEEK: Monday – Simon Fraser 6-2 at Saint Martin’s 10-8.
Wednesday - Western Washington at Simon Fraser, 5 p.m. Friday
– MSU Billings at Northwest Nazarene, 1 p.m. Saturday – MSU
Billings at Northwest Nazarene, 1 p.m.; Saint Martin’s at Simon
Fraser, 1 p.m.; Western Oregon at Western Washington, noon.
Sunday – Saint Martin’s at Western Washington, noon; Western
Oregon at Simon Fraser, 1 p.m.
CWU is idle this week before finishing its regular-season
the next two weeks with doubleheaders at Saint Martin’s
and Western Oregon and home twin bills against Western
Washington and Simon Fraser.
Once the dust has cleared four teams will advance to the
GNAC Championships April 30-May 2 at Yakima, Wash.

Campbell Climbs Into 11th Place In RBIs with 46
WOU Percentage Points Ahead of WWU, CWU, MSUB
A huge 15 RBI performance last weekend in a series
against MSU Billings has catapulted Central Washington
first baseman Kailyn Campbell into 11th place in NCAA
Division II in RBIs with a total of 46.
PORTLAND, Ore. –
Saint Martin’s opened up a threegame lead in the GNAC softball race Monday with a 10-8,
8-2 doubleheader sweep of Simon Fraser.
In addition to ranking 11th in total RBI, she also ranks 12th
in RBI per game with a 1.35 average.
The Saints lead four teams by the same three-game
margin.
MSUB’s Emily Osborn also had a big series slamming three
home runs to raise her season total to 12. She ranks 13th
in Division II.
Western Oregon (15-22, 7-5) is percentage points ahead of
Western Washington (19-15, 8-6), Central Washington (1817, 9-7) and Montana State Billings (19-18, 9-7) for second
place as the four battle for the final three playoff spots.
She also has 28 career slams and needs one more to jump
from 13th into a tie for ninth along with Western Oregon’s
Amanda Evola.
Simon Fraser is also still in the hunt for the post-season
trailing that quartet by two games.
