Being an entrepreneur has many wonderful benefits including a flexible schedule, freedom, and an incredible sense of satisfaction to be doing work you love. On the flip side, however, as an entrepreneur, you may also feel alone at times, that no amount of work you put in is ever enough, and often insecure about the future. These less ideal aspects can be hard to overcome for any entrepreneur, but especially for a highly sensitive, compassionate, heart-centered one. I know this because I am a sensitive entrepreneur myself. I have a private health coaching and yoga business, and I am the author of “Empowering the Sensitive Soul – Simple Wisdom to Improve your Health, Cultivate Self-Acceptance and Let Go of What is Holding You Back.” Being sensitive, I am easily affected by my environment and the people around me. I get tired more often and need more rest than what seems to be “normal” amongst others. I also tend to be hard on myself and forget to appreciate my accomplishments. I want to make a positive impact on the world and to show others that compassion and love can truly heal the world, even if it is just one person at a time.

In the beginning of my career, I did not know how to keep the proper work/life balance. I would overestimate what I could get done in a week and underestimate what I could get done in a year.
