RAIL
Huntingdon to Werrington
The project is actually 2 separate large projects coming under one banner. Werrington involves the creation of a new diver under to allow for large freight on the East Cost Mainline and Huntingdon will consist of OLE and associated civils works.
Fit for the Future Framework
Working at stations around London, including Acton, Wimbledon Park, East Putney and Harrow-on-the-Hill - the project involves the addition of step free access to the platforms and around the stations, as well as SERs (signalling equipment rooms).
Kings Cross Station Redevelopment
The grade II listed station is at the heart of a major redevelopment for the Kings Cross area in general. A new concourse is a stand out feature visitors can see for themselves already amongst the new addition of nearby homes and green land being built nearby.
Upminister Depot
TfL's electric traction depot is nearly 60 years old, and to keep with the times is having new power supplies being fitted. The work is scheduled for completion this year - just in time for the landmark birthday coming up in 2019.
Modular doors on Crossrail
Europe's largest construction project is coming on smoothly. We've hit a milestone in the Platform Screen Door Installation as the modular doors are now being put into place.
Crossrail Western Section
The western section of the Crossrail construction and development is coming on well with civil gangs that we have helped to supply pulling in on day and night shifts to help around the clock.
Extra electronic equipment helping to circulate air, maintain temperatures and vent fans is also being installed.
Electrification 2018 for Great Western Railway
Already running new trains between London Paddington and South Wales, Network Rail are working to electrify more of the existing tracks to assist in providing faster journeys for GWR customers.
The Didcot Parkway to Swindon and Bristol Parkway is the first phase of planned engineering work due to take place through 2018. This phase is due to be complete by the end of May.
Phase 2 in The Patchway and Severn tunnels due to start in June and run through to mid July.
