Your generosity helps change and save lives each and every day at the
University of Alberta Hospital, the Kaye Edmonton Clinic and the Mazankowski
Alberta Heart Institute.

I’ll explain in more detail in just a moment. First, let me tell you a bit about what
your generosity helped us accomplish over the past year…
Community support has been essential in supporting the expansion of the
Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute
by six patient rooms. Increased capacity means that more open-heart surgeries can be
performed each and every year.
Specialized care is now available to more patients than ever before. Every
patient receives the vital, personal observation and specialized care they need to get
better and back home to their loved ones.
