38 32 After Hours S W E I REV MOVIES Old classic, new take Beauty and the Beast Cast: Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans Genre: Family, fantasy, musical Director: Bill Condon In theatres: 17 March 2017 (USA) As a self-professed fan of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, I was extremely hesitant to see this film. It was going to either ruin the original, or it would hold its own and become yet another classic. I’m happy to say it ended up being the latter of the two options. Remarkably, the live action version pays very close homage to the animation and has all the endearing characters you fell in love with in the animation. As someone who has watched the animation countless times, I felt myself falling in love all over again with this enchanting story of a young woman who falls in love with a monstrous-looking prince. – CHELS RING THE BELL FEEL-GOOD FILM Creed Hidden figures Cast: Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson Genre: Drama, sport Director: Ryan Coogler Released: 25 November 2015 Cast: Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Kevin Costner Genre: Drama, biography Director: Theodore Melfi Released: 25 December 2016 (USA) In the spirit of flashbacks … if you were into the original Rocky series at all, you can’t go wrong with Creed. In this film, Rocky mentors Adonis, the son of his former friend Apollo, as he seeks to become a superstar of the ring. Surprisingly good stuff. – TONY A feel-good movie I didn’t know I needed to watch, Hidden figures actually had me interested in math and science. The most enjoyable part of this movie was the subtlety of the key themes. – JESS https://www.warnerbros.co.uk/~/media/images/warner%20bro/movies/creed/creed%2014.ashx http://s3.foxmovies.com/foxmovies/production/films/123/images/gallery/hf-gallery-04-gallery-image.jpg
