I want to thank you both very much for this opportunity and I know how busy you both are so let’s get right to it.
For our readers who would need to be hibernating to have not heard this game changing news, your two companies announced a co-packing and licensing agreement and will produce two beers. A hemp-based beer that will be produced at the soon to be ready new location of Brock Street Brewery and also a cannabis beer that will be produced at a facility of Province Brands. So, my first question goes to Mark.
Mark, as a fellow Whitby dweller, I have been a customer of Brock Street Brewery since the day you opened your doors and I will say that I have been a craft beer connoisseur for decades and I have yet to find any craft brewery that offers the range and quality of beers as your company. It was just over a year ago that we spoke about perhaps Brock Street entering the cannabis beverage space and here we are just over a year later. What is it about this space that you see as ideal for your company and for the countless of Canadians who will be trying cannabis beverages for the first time? To our readers, you may not know this, but the hops plant is a very close relative to the cannabis plant!
