ANZAC heritage
FOR 100 years, the Australian soldier in this picture giving a wounded Turkish soldier a drink has
been nameless. His family knew all along the photograph taken at Gallipoli was of TPR Henry “Harry”
McGinniss. Former Townsville soldier Mark McCormack is Harry McGinniss’ great, great nephew and
