It is also a time to reflect on the past year, set goals for the future and welcome new opportunities. All of these things could not be more true for us here in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Eastern Florida State College. We, first-year students in the program, are studying the anatomy, protocols and pathologies of the abdomen and obstetrics. We will complete the second half of our ultrasound physics studies and prepare to take the ARDMS certification exam for Sonography Principles and Instrumentation. We are also starting our first rotation of clinicals and are very excited about that! The second-year students will continue their studies and prepare for their ARDMS certifications in obstetrics and abdominal ultrasound. They are in their last rotation of clinicals and very excited to be graduating at the end of the semester. They are preparing resumes and anticipating securing great positions in the fantastic field of ultrasound! We hope you join us in welcoming in this new year, and we wish you all a wonderful year! Sincerely, Gail Miksch, Editor Class of 2020 Diagnostic Medical Sonography
