WHAT DOES ‘ AULD LANG SYNE ’ MEAN ? The most accurate plain English interpretation of the Auld Lang Syne ’ s famous title is ‘ Old long since ’, or ‘ For the sake of old times ’.

The song itself is reflective in nature , and is basically about two friends catching up over a drink or two , their friendship having been long and occasionally distant .

Auld Lang Syne has probably never made more sense then it does with the year of 2020 during social distancing and “ The New Normal .”

In the year 2021 , we hope that you find 12 months of happiness and mending . We wish you 25 weeks of fun and laughter with 365 days of success .

May your 8,760 hours keep you in good health and fulfilling any resolution that you will set . For the 525,600 minutes of 2021 , we send good luck to you and all of your endeavors . We wish you peace and joy for every one of the 31,536,000 seconds of this year . From our family to your family , Happy New Year !
