Safe Schools For Every Student
No child should have to study in a building
that is unsafe. Yet, more than 200 schools in
Tajikistan’s eastern province of GBAO are in
terrible condition.
Every year, with your help, CAI Tajikistan
chips away at that number. Whether it is
rebuilding or repairing schools, their goal is to
make every school a safe place to learn.
This year CAI Tajikistan is rebuilding Spinz
School but there are many other schools, just
like Spinz, that need our help.
SOVIET-ERA STRUCTURES
Many of Tajikistan’s schools are
timber structures built in the
Soviet Era. They were meant to
last 25 years. Many of them have
been standing for more than 50
years.
