Dear Faithful Friend of FCA: “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord!” Luke 2:10 - 11 i5)&803%#&$".& '-&4)"/%500,61 3&4*%&/$&".0/( 648&0#4&37&%)*4 (-03: 5)&(-03: "45)&0/&"/% 0/-:40/'30.5)& '"5)&3 '6--0' '" (3"$&"/%5365)w +0)/ )$4# On behalf of our FCA Staff in MS, I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas! We as Christians have been given the greatest gift of all; a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ! Every gift we receive brings about responsibility. The gift of Jesus is no different. Our mandate is to share the Good News of Christ with others! I hope you will take time to read through the enclosed 2016 Ministry Review. It contains so many stories of Jesus Christ changing lives. We currently have 32 staff in Mississippi that are called to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in our state. In 2016, God blessed FCA in Mississippi with growth to 655 huddles (a 25% increase from last year) and to see 2658 professions of faith in Jesus Christ! Thank you for faithfully praying and supporting our staff and ministry in Mississippi as they share the Good News of Christ to athletes, coaches, and all whom they influence. Your partnership in ministry is appreciated! At this time of year, many of you are finalizing your end of year giving and planning your budget for next year. Jake Mills, one of the founding supporters of FCA in our state once said, “Salvation is free, but ministry costs money.” We currently have 7 prospective staff that are working to raise their financial support to join our FCA team. Our ministry is growing and your support is critical. Would you prayerfully consider becoming a monthly partner with our ministry or giving a year-end contribution to FCA? We need your help! We have prayerfully set year end goals of $5000/month in new monthly partners and $500,000 in year-end gifts. If you have already responded to your local FCA staff member’s appeal, then please accept this letter as a thank you for your generosity. On the back of this letter you will see our staff team. I encourage you to place this in your Bible or on your refrigerator as a reminder and resource to pray for our staff. Thanks again for your partnership. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! May God Bless You Always and In All Ways, Josh Gilreath FCA State Director Mississippi
