Cottonwood Connections November 2021

November 2021

Greetings from the Director:

Counting Your Blessings

As our year winds down and we enter the holiday season it is the perfect time to reflect on the blessings we enjoy each day. I am so thankful for you, our Extension supporters, for stepping up as volunteers, or participating in the educational programs we provide. You make our jobs fulfilling and enjoyable.

November will be a busy month in the Cottonwood District as we sort and pack boxes at our Great Bend office. If you haven’t heard, our office is moving to 3007 10th Street, at the end of November. Lots of coordination goes into a move like this so please bear with us. We will most likely be closed to the public November 29th through December 1st as we get reconnected with technology and phones. Watch our facebook page and website for updates. We have already appreciated help from 4-H Junior Leaders and their families for helping with the move. After 26 years in our 12th Street location, we have A LOT to move.

Don’t let the busy-ness of the season keep you from counting your blessings. I know I don’t have to look far to see that my family and I have been richly blessed.

Donna Krug, District Director – Cottonwood Extension District
