Northern Ontario is an outdoor playground 365 days a year. Biking, canoeing, hunting, ice fishing, sledding and camping are just a few of the activities Northerners enjoy rain or shine (or snowstorm).

Such outdoor activities may not be considered workouts to steady gym-goers; however, being from the region myself , I can attest that blueberry picking is in fact a workout that requires a little fuel (besides the occasional handful of berries).
