Virgin Hyperloop One is convinced its hyperloop technology will soon connect Texas in a matter of minutes. Now, representatives for the company are hitting the road, working to sell Americans on their dream. Virgin successfully tested the hyperloop in May 2017 on a desert course in Nevada. However, developers say there is still more work to be done to win public support for the technology. “When government and investor delegations come to our test site, seeing the technology makes it real for them. Not everyone can come to the Nevada desert, so we’re bringing our technology to the people – the American people who will be riding this new form of transportation within a decade,” said Jay Walder, CEO of Virgin Hyperloop One. continued on p. 2 www.arlingtontx.gov | www.myarlingtontx.com
