Meet Robin Hood of Arlington ! Arlington Animal Services is pleased to introduce the newest addition to our shelter family . On July 31st , AAS Cruelty Investigator , Brandi Alcantar responded to an emergency call regarding a wounded cat . An individual had intentionally shot the cat with an arrow and then left him wounded . Investigator Alcantar rushed the cat , who was in great spirits considering his injury , back to the shelter . Our amazing clinic staff , full time Veterinary Technician , Traci and Dr . Monica Azzolini were called in for emergency assistance , to tend to Robin who was in need of immediate surgery to remove the arrow and care for additional injuries which resulted in a partial tail amputation from an additional unknown injury . We are happy to announce that Robin Hood has officially been adopted by shelter staff ! Robin will be assisting AAS while telling his story , and teaching others about antibullying and will be a part of our cruelty education program .
