There ’ s a difference between things that are buried versus things that are hidden .

When it comes to spiritual things ( i . e . spiritual gifts , seasons of life , destiny and calling , etc .), I think it is important to understand the difference between that which are buried versus those things which are hidden , because our response would likely shift depending on whether we find something buried or hidden .

Things which are Hidden

Let ’ s start with the hidden things . In Scripture , we see over and over that God chooses to hide things until just the right time . For example , consider the passage in Matthew chapter 13 where Yeshua tells the parable of the wheat and the tares .

The farmer instructs the farmhands to not pull out the weeds until both the wheat and the weeds are fully grown and ripened .
