Conversation , Communication and Gaining the Father ’ s Heart

What exactly is prayer , and how does it fit into the work which the Lord calls us to do ?

At its heart , prayer ( tefillah ) is not just a form of communication , but instead is its highest expression . It is a conversation with our Heavenly Father in the Name of Yeshua our Messiah ! But dialogue with God is only the start point . Just as with earthly relationships , communication is essential for growth and health , it is the same as with our relationship with God . As our Shaliach ( Apostle ) John reminds us , we need to abide or remain in Yeshua the Messiah in stating ,

“ You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you . Abide in Me , and I will abide in you . The branch cannot itself produce fruit unless it abodes on the vine . Likewise , you cannot produce fruit unless you abide in Me .” ( John 15:3-4 TLV )
