MARIN ALSOP CONDUCTS ORCHKIDS & THE BSO
Available Thursday , May 27 , 7 pm on BSOmusic . org / OffStage
As a city , we are better because Marin chose Baltimore , fell in love with our community , and invested in our youth . Over the past 13 years , she has made a difference in the lives of thousands of students across Baltimore . As a community , we are deeply grateful for all that she has given to the program , to our team , and to the many children and families we served and will continue to serve . Marin will be moving on to other cities around the world to share her great talent and her great heart , but she will forever be involved in OrchKids and will be known as Ms . Marin to thousands of children across Baltimore City .
Students , community members , and artists will participate in this exciting virtual event to honor the innovative accomplishments of OrchKids Founder Maestra Marin Alsop and the journey of the OrchKids program over the past 13 years .
