IN CASE YOU MISSED IT ...

C h r i s t m a s S u r p r i s e A woman ’ s generous $ 10,000 donation to Arlington Animal Services just before Christmas is already making it easier for heartworm-positive dogs at the shelter to find their forever homes . Sandy ( pictured right ) is one of our VIP Adoptable Dogs who will benefit from this woman ' s act of kindness . So far , three dogs , including Sandy , have found their forever homes and will have their treatments sponsored thanks to this donation . Typically , heartworm positive dogs have a harder time getting adopted and ultimately spend more time in the shelter than others due to the costs associated with heartworm treatment . Arlington Animal Services extends its thanks to the woman , who asked to remain anonymous . To read more about this incredible act of kindness click here .
