BENJAMIN , VP OPERATIONS , ACIER SÉLECT , ST-JEAN-SUR-RICHELIEU , QUÉBEC cier Sélect began its operations in St-Jean-sur- Richelieu , Québec , in 1997 with Jean-Paul Roy and Sylvain Benjamin . When Mr . Roy retired , he passed the torch to current president Sylvain Benjamin in 2011 .

Sylvain ’ s son Francis started working with his father when he was just 15 years old and spent summers at Acier Sélect holding various positions from plant worker to erector . He studied Civil Engineering at the Université de Sherbrooke in 2010 , interned for four months in 2013 at Sept-Îles , and officially began at Acier Sélect in 2015 . Francis , as is the idea of ensuring that organizations are both forward looking and forward thinking . The structural steel industry is continually staying on trend with new technologies and new ways of doing business .
