It took me forever to decide how to write about Matthew Willox. Describing him is like describing a Rubrik's Cube made of cats. He has nine lives that he seems to live all at once and I am convinced that either he doesn't sleep or there were clones hiding in the closet during our interview.
Matthew is a multi-talented, multifaceted creator of art, music and 3D animation. And within

those are a multitude of genres and sub-genres that he dives into. I feel that he has really mastered himself, in that he has embraced how to express his art in all formats that his self needs to. It was truly inspiring sitting across from him in the interview, listening to him novel himself out to me. The problem with that, is that I only have one article to write for him, when I am more than sure there should be a book.
Part of his inspiration lies with his daughter, Mia. She lives in Vancouver and they Skype every day. Over video chat, they create drawings and games that really inspire a lot of what Matthew does. They now have accumulated hundreds of sketches that have become or are a part of many of Matthews projects.
