love a good list. I make lots of
them, from things to pack for a trip
to grocery lists to thank you notes
I need to write.
As one-year ends and the next begins, lists are everywhere. Top 10s. In/Outs. The songs I played most on Apple Music (Hello, Taylor Swift). I read every one of them I can find, and usually, I glean a nugget or two of fashion advice or a new food trend to try, but this year I felt very out of touch.
I consider myself relatively in tune with pop culture, even though I'm in my 50s, deleted Facebook a few years ago, and refuse to succumb to Tik Tok. So, I was surprised that I had no idea about what was out, nonetheless was in, on many lists.
