A message from our CEO
Just before Christmas the Trustees appointed me as
the new Chief Executive of LWPT. Having been with
the charity for just over two years, I am delighted
to take on this responsibility and look forward to
developing all the work that we do to support and
provide resources for those that preach. There have
been a number of changes including the departure
of Adrian Needham, Executive Officer, Jo Swinney,
Preach Editor, Nafisa Mantel, Marketing Executive
and Shayne Hall, Finance Manager. I’m sure that you will join with me in thanking
them all for their individual efforts in helping LWPT to flourish.
With these farewells, we also have a number of welcomes. We celebrate three new
staff members joining the team: Louisa Lockwood, Preach Editor, Rochelle Owusu-
Antwi, Communications Manager and Shenara Abraham, Membership Officer.
All three bring a wealth of professional experience to LWPT and with different
church backgrounds means that we are becoming a truly ecumenical team which
is absolutely wonderful. Please pray for the new team as we endeavour to work
together to deliver the objectives of the charity.
Finally, a huge thank you to all those that were able to contribute to the Winter
appeal. The total raised so far is just under £2,000 and we are still receiving
donations, which is fantastic and greatly appreciated.
