farm hand in Green Isle,
worked as a welder, and
eventually settled into
a position with Pioneer
Telephone Company in
Waconia for 44 years.
He worked many
positions there, including
a computer programmer,
in the accounting/billing
department,
and
in
management.
He retired in 2010 from
the company; today called
CenturyLink.
