Greetings from the Director:
I hope you were able to connect with many of our Cottonwood team members during our recent County Fairs. For nearly two solid weeks we were helping a long list of volunteers to carry out the learning opportunities provided at the Fairs.
Now we shift gears and the calendar shows that the first day of school is just around the corner. One of the fall programs we are hosting in the Cottonwood District is an on-line grant writing workshop. The workshop will be held September 14th and 15th from 1-4 each afternoon. Grants are a vital piece in our communities’ success in funding special projects. Collaborating with community partners is definitely an important component when it comes to successful grant writing. The flyer with details about how to register for the workshop can be found in this newsletter as well as on our Cottonwood website. There is a $60 registration fee and the enrollment is limited to 30 individuals.
