hen I started fly fishing, I was happy with any
rod that would do what I needed. Function
and price were far more important than
brand or build. Like many long time anglers, I have
my favorite rods and favorite brand, but I’m always
eager to try new rods from any manufacturer.
This review is in no way scientific and likely has some
bias. There were no weights and measures taken. I
simply fished the rod the way I like to fish. My criteria
for liking the rod is pretty basic. Does it do what it
was designed to do? Does it work for me? Do I like
the way it looks and feels? Would I like to own and
fish this rod? Will I feel good about selling this rod?
