On August 27, we welcomed our new students at the Narita airport. It was great to meet them finally after the sum-
mer of preparation. Hope our 40 students will have a great semester together with their teachers, E-pals, hostfami-
lies and more of new friends!
E-pals helped students to review their Japanese lan-
guage before the classes started on September 10.
Students had lots of fun also learning about the differ-
ences between US students and Japanese students,
hot spots in Tokyo and Japanese slangs from them.
Homestay program is a great way to immerse yourself
in Japanese culture. Through living with Japanese fami-
ly everyday, you will learn the language, adapt to the
local customs and very often make friends for life.
On August 29, 15 students met their host families for
the semester. Everyone did a great job introducing
themselves all in Japanese! Hope they all have a great
homestay experience for the semester!
