Sweet By Day, Sassy By Night
There are so many ways to take an outfit from day to night, without having to
do a full outfit change. Whether you have been at work, or home all day, here
are a few ways that this can be achieved.
Opt for versatile pieces
Before you even get dressed in the morning,
take the time to think about what pieces are
versatile enough to take you from day to night.
Things like a plain black dress, or jeans are all
items that can be dressed up or down.
Statement earrings
This is a really easy way to transform an
outfit that can be worn in the evening. Pop a
pair of chandelier earrings in your bag that you
can put on for the evening. Worn with a fitted
dress or silk blouse and skirt, this look will take
you from corporate to cocktail in a matter of
seconds!
Layer jewellery
Jewellery plays a very important role when
taking an outfit from day to evening. Keep
jewellery minimal during the day, and then add
for the evening. Layers are great!
Bold jacket
If your work outfit consists of basic looking
clothing, pep up your look with a quirky jacket.

This works really well with slim leg pants and a

Changing your handbag is a very

This for me is probably the most
effective way to change an outfit.
Trade in the flats for a killer pair of
heels. You will automatically feel
dressed for the evening once you
have gotten rid of the pumps!
Touch up your make-up
Add to what you have already got,
a little liquid liner, lipstick and
maybe a darker eyeshadow. You
won’t always have the time to redo
a whole face of make-up, so these
additions will do the trick.
These are just a few ways to take
an outfit from day to evening when
you are strapped for time. Always
be prepared, as you just never
know who may call for a date or a
night on the town!
