Did you enjoy finding out about the biggest things in the universe in the Megamaths issue of AQUILA magazine ? Let ’ s now scale it back to your home with this super-fun scavenger hunt game !
Calculata ’ s Mission
Who can find the record-breaking items in your home ? Here ’ s a quick competition you can play with your friends and family – but make sure you agree on which things are not to be touched !
GET STARTED
Step 1 : You will be competing with the other players to find what you think will be the record-breaking item in a particular room or across your home . Familiarise yourselves with the categories listed on page 2 .

Step 2 : Set the timer for five minutes .
Step 3 : When the timer starts , each player has five minutes to look for the record breaker in each category .
Step 4 : Each item they pick must fit into the bag / pillowcase and must not be breakable !
YOU WILL NEED
o A cotton bag or pillowcase for each player
o A stopwatch o A ruler or tape measure o A set of scales
Step 5 : When five minutes is up , each player must return to an agreed place , where the items will be compared .
