South Valley is a wonderful mosaic of fi rst-generation immigrants. East cost transplants, and
California natives. We're an integral part of mighty Santa Clara County and despite our modest
size, we are richly blessed with people of vision.
At gmh TODAY we appreciate the opportunity each year to highlight people in Gilroy, Morgan
Hill and San Martin who contribute to the development and preservation of assets that benefi t
the entire community—schoolss, libraries, sports complexes, senior centers, cultural arts ven-
ues, historical downtowns, wineries, nurseries, farmlands, ranches, places of worship, parks
and open spaces.
If there's one thing we learn from each other, it's that community spirit is the tie that binds,
keeps us focused on quality of life for all, and reminds us why we love South County, this place
we call home.
