Historic Wagner Farm

LITTLE SPROUTS
The garden is planted and spring is blooming . Come to the farm and learn how you can get a green thumb . Preschoolers and an adult will learn the art of gardening during this handson educational and fun two week program . Participants will tend to the spring garden , learn about the different plants and flowers that grow on a farm and take part in arts and crafts activities . Note : This class is for a child accompanied by an adult and fee listed is per adult-child pair . Register for this adult-child class using child ' s name .

WHEN CHORES WERE DONE
A visit to the farm will have lasting memories . Your child is invited to come to the farm to do the before supper chores . There are animals to tend to , the kitchen garden to be weeded and the fields are ready for planting . Chore boots and gloves are provided .

COMPOSTING 101
Learn the basics of composting in this introductory class . Vermicomposting vs . traditional composting will be covered . Participants will leave with the knowledge to start a home kitchen or yard composter . This class will be taught by Master Gardener Dori Flerlage .
