Final Fall Canoe | Ages 6-Adult
Join us one last time this year for a paddle on the beautiful
Skokie Lagoons! Heller Naturalists will provide canoes and
everything else needed for a relaxing and fun afternoon on the
water.
Children must be accompanied by a paid registered adult.

Fall Family Adventure | All Ages
An adventure you won’t forget! Learn to use a GPS to find
hidden clues along our trails, shoot a bow and arrow, build
shelters in the woods, or work together to build a fire. End the
afternoon with a cookout–you bring dinner, we’ll provide the
grill. Activities are subject to change.
Children must be accompanied by a paid registered adult.

Owl Prowl | Ages 6-Adult
Whoo-hooo’s awake? Me tooooo—you might hear a great
horned owl asking you if you’re out in the evenings. Highland
Park is home to several owl species, including the great horned
and screech owls. Learn about the adaptations that make owls
so special, then head outside for a night hike to listen for owls
calling in the wild.
Min/Max is 10/25. Children must be accompanied by a paid
registered adult.

Archery | Ages 9-14
Discover the basics of archery and practice shooting a bow and
arrow. You’ll even make your own target to practice with and
take home!
Participants who register for Geocaching may bring a sack lunch

Follow a high-tech trail through the forest using a GPS, learn
how to geocache anywhere in the world and set your own
geocache trail for your friends to follow!

Calling all Jedi; attend Jedi school to practice your lightsaber
