Trick-or-Treat Climb Boys Champions Basketball Academy

Join us at the climbing wall for a fun Halloween trick-or-treat event.
Kids will have to work - or climb - for their treats! Rock climbing-
friendly costumes are welcome. Min/Max: 5/15. (cs) Grade: 1-12
This program is designed to offer top level training in all aspects of
player development. Participants work through detailed skills training to
build a foundation of fundamentals. Team strategy and overall offensive
and defensive I.Q. are taught. Students will be able to apply what they
have learned in live game play. Instructor: Champions Club Basketball.

Tweens will enjoy an evening of fun playing sports like basketball and
dodgeball, participating in activities such as relay races and obstacle
course(s), and everyone will get a chance to climb the rock wall.
Each participant will enjoy a piece of pizza and water. Parents must

COACHES TRAINING
Positive Coaching Alliance Training
Held at Spring Avenue Recreation Center
In partnership with Positive Coaching Alliance, the Glen Ellyn Park
District offers five workshops for coaches throughout the year. This
is a district-wide program that all coaches are expected to complete
once every two years regardless of the number of sports coached. It
is an interactive workshop format led by Positive Coaching Alliance
instructors. For those coaches that completed the workshop in 2018,
they will not need to attend again until 2020. (bt)

NEW Fall Youth Basketball League
Held at Ackerman SFC & Local Schools
Grade: 3-8 (Register as an individual)
A shortened version of our Winter League! Teams play a 6-game
regular season plus playoffs. Practices are held during the week at local
schools and games are held at Ackerman SFC on Saturday evenings
(between 4-8pm). All participants receive a reversible jersey. Player/
coach requests are not accepted. If interested in becoming a volunteer
coach, complete the Youth Basketball Volunteer Coach Form at gepark.
