Opens Doors

Hard to believe, but the back-toschool scurry is almost upon us.
This fall, students [and
parents] will
have another
option for
their education. The
newly-granted charter
school,
Union Day
School
(UDS), will
officially
open its
doors to a
brand new
class of K
through 3rd graders come August
29th.
Students were accepted via lottery
drawing from submitted applications back in January. The board
held several community wide
informational meetings to educate
the public on UDS’ vision of inquiry-based, student-led learning.
