Effective Monday , May 4th , stray animal drop-off will be accepted by appointment only during regular business hours at Arlington Animal Services . The shelter is still requesting the help of citizens . If you are able to safely care for the found pet , we would like you to consider fostering through Arlington Animal Services . Free Spay / Neuter Clinics For Arlington Cats : Thanks to a grant from The Petco Foundation , 600 Arlington cats will be spayed or neutered . Free clinics are being held on Monday ' s and Friday ' s at Arlington Animal Services while funding lasts . These clinics are available for feral , community and domestic cats in all Arlington zip codes . The first 20 cats to arrive between 8-9am will be accepted . Cats must be picked up at 4pm . Kittens must be at least 3 months old , and feral cats must be in a trap to be eligible to participate in these clinics .

Kennel Enrichment at AAS has become a huge hit among our shelter animals and AAS Staff ! Thanks to generous donations made from our Amazon Wish List , shelter animals have been enjoying bacon and catnip bubbles , peanut butter lick mats , treat balls and pupsicles !
