City Celebrates
Public Works Week
Each year the United States
celebrates National Public Works
Week in May. The theme of this
year’s campaign was “It Starts
Here” and it highlighted the
numerous aspects of modern
society that are supported
by the contributions of the
men and women who provide
and maintain a community’s
infrastructure.
Since 2010, the Arlington Public
Works and Transportation
Department has been accredited
by the American Public Works
Association.
