Can you believe it ’ s time to begin thinking about your next year of Girl Scouting and take advantage of Early Bird renewal ... where did the time fly ? The 2022-23 Girl Scout membership year begins on Oct . 1 and we ’ ve got some incredible incentives for girls , troops , leaders , and Service Units who renew by May 31 .
Great Resources for Our Leaders
Troop leaders make the Girl Scout Leadership Experience happen for Girl Scouts , but this year has brought new challenges as volunteers work to keep girls and families engaged . Below are the top three resources :
Volunteer Toolkit
The VTK gets better and better each year ! Have you seen the new Resources Tab ? Check it out and get started on next year ’ s plan today ! You can also send individual emails or group emails to caregivers to share upcoming information and update families on girls ’ achievements .
Volunteer Enrichment
The GSSNE Volunteer Enrichment Program provides personal and professional development opportunities to adult Girl Scout volunteers . Programs offered help build skills that can be used beyond the volunteer role and deepen volunteers ’ connections to the world around them .
Troop Leader Blueprint
This provides a “ home base ” for accessing national and local resources and tools created to help troop leaders continue to serve their girls in virtual and safe in-person settings . You will find sister council webpages , VTK enhancements , over 40 adapted meeting plans , and updates to Girl Scouts at Home .

1 It ’ s so easy with online renewal . Just go to the MyGS link on any page at gssne . org and log in to renew yourself and your entire troop .
2 Cookie proceeds cover the cost . Using the proceeds from the Girl Scout Cookie Program to renew all the girls in your troop gives them the satisfaction of being self-sufficient . They worked hard to earn that money and this is an immediate result .
3 You can jump right into the Fall Product Program ! Start your year off right by earning funds for girls to use towards even more fun .
4 You ’ ll be prepared to have fun in 2023 ! Imagine starting the Girl Scout year in the spirit of our
organization that has been around for 110 years . Girl Scouts from all over the world will be continuing to show we are strong , resilient , and ready to explore the world again . Begin thinking about and planning all of the excitement ahead .

Troop Leader Reminders
♥ Complete end-of-the-year finance reports for your troop ( s ) and submit them via the volunteer toolkit .
♥ Be sure that you have paid all amounts due from the Fall Product Program and Girl Scout Cookie Program .
Volunteer Reminders
♥ Be sure to confirm parent volunteer roles in your troop ( like Troop Leader , Helper , Fall Product Program chair , and Girl .)

1 Visit gssne . org and Log in to MyGS with your username and password . Your username is your email address . If you have forgotten your password , use the " forgot your password " link to reset it . gssne . org • ( 401 ) 331-4500

2 At the top right , click the Yellow button “ My Account ”.
3 Select “ My Troops ” and select your troop number from the drop down bar .
4 You will see members and can start renewing .
